HISTORY & FOUNDING

PCA was established in 2004 by parents and others in the community who desired to have a local Christian school for students to grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ. The first year was a tremendous blessing with over 75 students, age two through Kindergarten. Every year since then, PCA’s enrollment has grown tremendously from Early Education through twelfth grade.

MISSION STATEMENT

In partnership with the home, the church, and with reliance on the inerrant Word of God as the foundation of all knowledge, PCA provides the whole child with academic excellence, spiritual formation, and physical education.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION & VALUES

PCA teaches Christian doctrine and values based upon a Biblical Worldview.  Each member of the School Board, and each employee of the school, having accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior, subscribe to the following Statement of Faith:

  1. We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Work of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I John 5:11-14; I Cor. 8:6; Eph. 4:4-6

  3. We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to power and glory. Is. 7:14; Col. 2:9-10; Heb. 1:3; Heb. 4:15

  4. We believe all mankind is saved and justified by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and by accepting Him as Lord and Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 10:13; 2 Cor. 5:17

  5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. Rom. 6:23; I Thess. 4:13-18; Rom. 13:2; I Tim. 5:12; Math. 25:41

  6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 4:13; Rom. 12:4-5

  7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. Eph. 1:13; Acts 1:9-9
